Planted from a tiny band in 2021, by 2023 my two were 3 feet tall and throwing long canes. Blooms in long frequent flushes. Moderate scent. Fair cuttings for vase. Against the house in a fairly sheltered southern exposure but only about 5-6 hours of direct sunlight. Green mostly to tip every winter so far in 5b, this past winter saw -25F.

I have had this rose for four years and it has survived 100+ summer heat, -40 winter cold, the worst drought in 80 years, living all one summer under a steadily flowing leaking pipe, and a transplant to another state. The blooms are a lovely clear pink, I would love it if they were more fragrant but as much as this rose has lived through for me that almost seems like wanting to have my cake and eat it too.

Beautiful flowers and hardy to snowline (in most winters) in southern Finland, but very slow and weak growing on its own roots. Could do much better on a vigorous rootstock in cold climates.
