Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1925 as 'Mrs. C. W. Edwards'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Crimson to carmine-red, yellow undertones, ages to deep pink .  Reverse shaded and veined yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
