'Celestial' has more petals than the roses shown, as does that other pink alba, 'Amelia'. The foliage does have the alba shape, rounded, tooothed oval leaflets, but not the flat, matte surface. I would be inclined to think the pictured rose is a Damask, or possibly the alba/Damask hybrid, Belle Amour. In my yard 'Belle Amour' shows a salmony undertone in the color, but the light in Orkney may be different.
It might be the Damask 'Celsiana', which is often confused with 'Celestial'. 'Celsiana' throws out canes upwards of 10-15', ought IMHO to be considered a rambler, but the prevailing wind in Orkney might retard growth somewhat.

Hello, I ordered the ‘Minerva’ variety on the internet, but I didn't receive it... In fact, from the colour and appearance of the bud, I can see that it is a rosa centifolia, but which one (cristata, napoleon's hat, etc..)? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Hi, I’m new here, is there any way I can post some photos of my rose for help identifying the breed please?
Might it be an Abraham Darby? These pics are all of the same rose at different stages.
Much obliged.

Thank you! Photos uploaded now. I hope someone can identify them. I bought ‘peace roses’ from Amazon when Mum died as they were her favourite flowers but they sent me these by mistake. I love them but don’t know what they are.

You might find out by looking at the other offerings from the Amazon vendor.

This rose was sold to me for the variety ‘MAREVA’ by Werner Noack (cultivar:NOAmel), which variety of red rose is it?

Could it be Red Flower Carpet? Someone in the warehouse getting their carpets mixed up?

Hello and thank you for this suggestion of variety, the flower has a very light scent of wild rose, its size is small 3/4 cm, the foliage seems robust to me, the rose has fairly large thorns. Best Regards, Huyustus
