Goldfinch rose photo
Rose photo courtesy of Margaret Furness
South Australia, zone 9b, early winter. The seed floated in water but is worth trying (Goldfinch was seed parent of Ghislaine de Feligonde). Sorry, my Photoshop crop tool isn't working.

Rose photo courtesy of Margaret Furness
South Australia, zone 9, autumn. An unusual appearance, presumably weather-related. I haven't seen such a pale flower on it before, but it's not a sport, as there are similarly pale buds elsewhere on the plant. Photo angled to show pale reverses and petal nubs.
